Hi, I just bought a Nord Grand (in HK).
I might move out soon and was wondering if Nord had any plans to market a specific case or bag for this board. Seems like none of the current bags and cases fit so I’m getting worried.
Maybe it’s simply not meant to be moved around like other stage pianos but this would be rather odd.
Thanks

Re: Nord grand case
I'll jump in here. New board poster, not new to Nord though. Nord told me via email that there will be a case, albeit a bit bigger than normal.

Re: Nord grand case
The grand is delivered with a black stretch fabric cover that you can fit on. Very convenient. I put it on after every practice session to protect the board and the keys from dust.

Black stretch fabric cover? What is this thing you speak of? I must speak to my retailer about this.
Re: Nord grand case
Sorry i guess my English isn’t that good.
It’s a large piece of cloth made of a stretch fabric that you can wrap around the board. It was included in the box when the board was delivered. It is good to protect from dust. I live in HK.

Re: Nord grand case
Just noticed the official Nord Grand soft bag is available ‘on request’ at Kytary.

Bit expensive for me at £329 so I think I’ll stick to my gear4music 88 softcase for the time being.

Re: Nord grand case
Hello Everyone,
I'm the proud owner of a Nord Grand and let me tell you - it's FANTASTIC!
While we wait for Nord to come with the official case I found a great alternative in the US.
True - it's not a flight case however its the balance between heavy and bulky and complete soft case.
It's an SKB case which is very close to a perfect match.
1SKB-SC76KW - SKB Soft Case for 76-Note Keyboard
It sells for $223 in the US. (Which is very reasonable in my mind)

I'm attaching few photos of how the Nord Gran sits in the case.
I hope this helps.
