I am a proud owner of the Nord piano 3. Soon I will be investing in a synthesizer. My question is, will my sustain and volume pedals, connected through my Nord piano 3, work with the synthesizer input fed through my Nord piano 3 with either MIDI or USB? Thanks!

Yes it will.
There are multiple of different controller-settings in the menu, so you have various of choices.

It will not work via USB, but it may work via MIDI. There are different ways you can set this up, and you may have to plan ahead a bit.

Do you want to play two (or more) different voices at the same time, so that the (other) synth plays something else from its own keys? Then you may need the non-keyboard extern zone setup in the extern section.
