Hi all,
I will pick up my very first "real" digital piano in about a week. After switching back and forth, I ended up with Nord Piano. My experience in piano world is about 5 months old so I really don't have a clue what would be the "normal procedures" that I should do (or must do) when I go to the store and pick up my unit. If anyone in this forum can give me some advice that will a big help since you'll have to wait month(s) here in Thailand to get Nord shipped from Clavia so I just want to make sure that I will bring home a good unit.
Thank you.

Re: New unit checklist
If you're picking it up from a shop it could be a good idea to get to test it before you leave the shop. The manual is available from Nord's homepage: http://www.nordkeyboards.com/main.asp?t ... &osdwn=osw

Hi, Grasoon.
R u Thai? It's good to see Thai people here
). I'm Thai and live in KhonKaen Thailand and i've just bought the NP from TheSoundChef about 3 months ago (before the Flood) and it works perfectly so far. Where did u buy the Nord? When i picked up the unit i check all the Jacks, Peddle, and all functioning botton on the nord panel. It's very easy to check because everything is on the panel, no sub-menu to confuse. Other things to check is the metal case, i saw some post of the defect in metal case of the nord piano here. Anyway, u dont have to worry that much because Nord has a very good quality control of their product and the dealer here (auditalpro) has a very good service mind.
Enjoy!!
