replacement contact boards come with bubble strips pre-mounted; not possible to purchase them without

Sound Technology should be able to provide access to parts source, but keep in mind that those are Fatar (Studiologic) keybeds, so if Sound Tech says that they can't get them, try the UK distributor of Studiologic products. The Fatar parts numbers for those are: 26043250 (lower) and 26043350 (upper).

I'm not able to explain why I failed to notice that this was an HP model. Numbers given previously are for 73-note waterfall. Correct number for HP, sold as one complete set, is 26051210

Brand name De-Oxit contact cleaner is really good stuff for many applications, but NOT for key contacts. That stuff is designed to leave a residue which is great for protecting 1/4" jacks and plugs from oxidation and providing for clean connections, but that residue will wreak havoc on key contacts.

Okay folks, the latest installment- having cleansed the internals to within an inch of their mortals we are down to one dead F#.
Armed with all your wonderful assistance I called the Studiologic distributors who very helpfully put me onto Real Electronics in Sheffield. Again, a dozen times more helpful than the manufacturer who shall remain nameless. Thus a part request form has been duly filed and I'm assured they'll get right back to me.
Feels like we're getting somewhere.
Thanks again for all your invaluable help.
