I inhabit this forum as a private citizen and work by day as Nord Tech Support Canada/USA. I am happy to help when and where I can, but there are limits to what I can do and where I can go. Reports like this are basically unheard of. I'm not sure that this is a hardware problem, but since no one seems to have similar reports and everyone else is using the same software then it seems likely that it's a hardware problem. There is no magic software wand which will cure a hardware problem. For assistance with a hardware problem, UK customers will need to communicate with UK tech support.


One failure symptom which has occasionally been observed on other older Nord models is that a component failure in the control pedal circuit (EMI filter) can cause the instrument to think that a pedal is connected even when there is none, and respond to phantom pedal commands. It is possible that this is happening in this case. You might try playing around with pedal settings in the System menu to see if this low volume behavior "moves around" as you assign the control pedal to different things.

@lamplighter you're not the only one.
I Just bought a Nord Piano 2 and I notice exactly the same.
The sample volume like violins are very low.

I re-update the system but still a low volume for the sample part.
I only use the piano parts so it's not a big issue for me but it is strange for sure.
