Hi,
I've looked for similar topics here but didn't find any. Hope my first post here isn't reiterating a FAQ.
So my music teacher has an issue with the Nord Piano 2: when changing programs, the first key press on the new sound might be _way_ too loud (soft touch with a strings sample goes FULL VOLUME immediately).
On the other hand when using a volume pedal, the new sound might not be at the limit even when hitting the key really hard - only by turning the volume knob does the piano "remember" that the scale is wider.
Unfortunately the effect isn't entirely reliable to reproduce, so identifying the root cause is difficult (except that it's somehow related to sound changes) - but it happens often enough that it's a bit risky to use the device for public performance.
Any advice on what might create these effects, or where to look?
Thanks!

Re: NP2: Issue with sample volume after program change
I don't own a NP2, but on the Nord Stage the section levels as well as the position (and so level) of the Control (or Volume) pedal are stored with the Program, at the value they haev when saving; so you need to verify that and make the levels even across Programs.
Besides, if you saved it with a certain value that is "distant" from the actual position of the pedal while switchign Programs, then you may obtain those "jumps" in volume (as soon as you move, even slightly, the pedal).
