Hello people,
I've got a new Nord Piano 3 and I ran into a problem when trying to load new(or other piano libraries) on to the machine.
I deleted some of the standard piano libraries that came with the machine, which went fine. I even loaded in some samples in the sample library, which also went fine. But when I try to load in new piano libraries it will keep telling me it's "Cleaning free space". I've tried waiting for this to finish, but by the time I checked again if it was done, the timer said it took 153029 minutes to complete, which is about 106 days..
I also installed the new OS, v1.12 on the machine, which also went fine. I also tried to do a factory reset, but as this also calls the Cleaning Function I did not come far with this. I've since contacted Nord Support but I have yet to hear from them. Does anyone whom has a Nord Piano 3 (or other device) come across this problem? And if you did, do you have a solution?
When I hear back from Nord Support (or when I have a solution) I will report back here.

While you wait for support reply, try to use a different USB cable and/or port.

I will try that and will let you know, though I am skeptical because the samples did work. Only the Piano Library(models) not.

The USB cable change had no effect.
The Technical Support guy said to update the OS again and try again, though that too had no effect.
Will keep you updated.

The cleaning operation can take a few minutes, but never longer than that. If you can swap out the computer being used, I'd try that as well as the cable.
I think I have gear issues ....

So, the following has happened:
I had a phonecall with the Nord Distribution and Support department of the Netherlands. And they advised me to format, I did but ran into the same problem as with cleaning the free space. They and Nord Stockholm concluded that it is in fact a hardware failure and the flash memory for the piano section is broken or malfunctioning.
They are going to issue a warranty return and replace the instrument.
I'm a little bummed out that it's a malfunctioning product but I'm really happy with the support they and the shop I bought it at (Studio de Dijk) have given me.
