I find layered ep's like ballad ep pretty unusable for playing chords, maybe for solo action yes but.. The thing is you cant set release because its in piano section, so it has only sustain. As far as i noticed you cant make the sustain have smooth ending like release, or maybe im wrong? The other thing one can do is perhaps to layer it with some synth pad or something but that defeats the purpose.
