As I am a Newbie for the A1 I was very interested to understand how some programs which sound interesting for me were made. To use the "Monitor the knob-Status" function is nice, if You want to know the status of one knob but gives no overview. To make the cc list in the very nice form how it exists e.g. for the Nord Stage or Electro with the CTRLR-Tool was too time consuming and complicate for me. So I decided to go the quick and maybe dirty way (at least for me) and to make a little HTML file with Javascript in it for use in the browser. It listens to the USB-Midi In of my Desktop and displays a structured table of the knob values. If You press shift MIDI (the slot B button) and then go to the cc-Dump dialog it displays after the dump the status of all the relevant knobs of the program slot in focus. I uses it only with programs (not performances).
It works with my PC running Windows 10 and the newest version of the Browser Chrome. I did and could not test it with other configurations. The Midi Interface is the standard USB connection cable from the A1 to the USB of my PC. The Browser should be the only program on the PC using Midi at this time. The table shows only the status of the knobs (0,0 to 10,0) which are sent by the Midi CC Dump. If You change after the dump any knob the change is reflected in the table, because the A1 sends the relevant cc-Midi-Message.
Maybe it helps some of You. You find the source code of the HTML file NordA1ccDumpList.zip in the zip file attached to this message. Unzip it to a location on Your PC and drag the file in a window of the browser. It should display in big letters the name of the Midi Interface and below the table with the values. All initial values except Pan show the value of 0. Only after the cc-Dump the values are updated.
All the best
It is an awesome forum

Re: Send and list cc
Hello,
It's an interesting tool.
In an another way, I was thinking about "reading" the NLA1 programs files in order to retrieve the parameters.
I don't know if it is possible to decode .nlas file. If it is, it would be easy to complete a table of parameters.
Did you explore such a way ?
