Sorry to open another thread about this theme. But as a newcomer to the Nord family, I still have 2 questions.
I have recently acquired the Nord Stage4. Nord Clavia currently has 2 synthesizers in their range: Nord Lead A1 and Wave 2.
1.
I have read that the NS4 includes the Wave2 synth engine. However, I don't know if it is 100% identical or are there still limitations and where?
2.
Can I conclude that with Wave2 and Lead1 you can cover pretty much everything in the synth range in terms of sound?

Re: Nord Lead A1 and Wave 2
none of the Nord Stage models have an identical synth engine to any of the dedicated synths
Nord Stage 4 has a Wave 2 "Style" synth Engine
Nord Stage 3 has an A1 "Style" synth Engine
and as such, patch files are not interchangable
