Hi
I would like to know what is the best way to connect the ns2 to nla1 via midi. in particular I would like to use ns2 as a master and then play some sounds of nla1 with ns2. I would also like to use the organ of ns2 with nla1. all of this together. it's possible? thank you very much

Re: Nord lead a1 and nord stage 2 via midi
I think the best method to connect them "via MIDI" is to use a MIDI cable.
NS2 [MIDI OUT] to NLA1 [MIDI IN].
Then use the global channel or the extern section, depending what you want to do.
It also seems that it has become a fashion to post multiple times on different parts of the forum.
That annoys readers and moderators alike, so please do not do that.

Re: Nord lead a1 and nord stage 2 via midi
There is not much to add. Yes it's possible.
midi NS to A1: use the two NS external parts to control two or more A1 slots.
midi A1 to NS: use the global channel to control the NS organ, if that is what you want.
Set midi channels accordingly. if you dont't want the active A1 slot to sound while playing the NS organ oart with the A1 keyboard, use a split and put the upper part on the entire keyboard down to C while selecting a lower slot, or turn the slot volume down.
But it's actually all in the manuals.

Re: Nord lead a1 and nord stage 2 via midi
thanks you've been really useful. in particular for the split from a1 (a1 mdi out to midi in north stage 2). it seems that the split set to a1 does not propagate on ns2. am I wrong?
