Nord Lead 2x - Values Jumping

Hi all!
I'm new to this Nord Lead 2x I picked up. I have been noticing something kind of strange in my eyes and wonder what I might be doing. Here is the scenario and it doesn't always happen.

1) Playing a patch on B then switching to patch A. Make adjustments (seems it happens with the filter section Freq and Res)
2) Switch back to patch B. Sometimes now my filter changes seem to carry over? from A to B?

I was thinking I was perhaps bumping the mod wheel because adjusting this, I can get my relative tone back but not spot on...

Thought I would pose my situation here to be set straight quicker before I start deep diving trying to get at the exact issue.

MIDI loop and having multiple slots on the same MIDI channel will do that.
