Nord Lead 2 fried?
Hi people, I'm hoping someone can help me out here... My ancient, owned from new, NL2 looks like it's cooked I was using it for a few hours this pm & the midi sync to LFO went a bit haywire. After not being able to fix this, I switched the unit off & back on & got initially a blank screen & then just a number " 6" in the display. No sounds at all. I switched it off again, left for while & then switched back on & all was fine. Switched off again & now back to the blank screen again - has anyone here experienced anything similar &, if so, was it fixable? I do have an NL4 but much prefer the basic sound of the NL2 & it's midi implementation. Cheers, AR

Make sure it's not receiving midi sync while powering up. Or any midi, for that sake.

Thanks for that, I think that may well be the issue, just to update people, I unplugged all the midi cables etc & left it for a few hours (it had got pretty warm in the studio). All was fine on power up & the board worked faultlessly throughout yesterday - phew!!
Thanks for your input.
