Thanks, but being a bit ocd, if I wanted to open the buttons up and clean the inside and springs, would my trusted can of isopropyl alcohol be good for contact cleaning and deoxydixing? or should it be better to use deoxit instead? it's not a common brand here in the uk.
Edit: I cleaned the buttons with isopropyl alcohol and replaced the springs with new ones.
As good as new!
