Lead 4 - Slot D: NO SOUND

Hey!

I have gone through the manual but have been unable to figure out why the 4th slot (D) does not make any sound on my lead 4. Going through all the stock sounds in both program mode & performance mode, Slot D HAS NEVER created any sound. Basically instead of having 4 individual synths, i only have 3. Even when attempting to start a brand new sound in program mode, using the "sound init" button, again no sound. What am i doing wrong?! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
