Is my A1 unit defective

A lot of it works, but there is almost no sound on program number 1.3
I tried reloading that sound from the sound manager, still no sound.
My OS is v1.34

Thank you for your response. I was worried because factory program 1.3 made almost no sound, and it seemed strange to me that they would have a factory preset like that. I eventually discovered that my mod wheel was about 1/2 of the way up and that caused the filter to shut down leaving very little sound on program 1.3. I assume all A1 units do the same.
