Got this second hand ...it looks like in good condition, but suddenly a few weeks ago the middle line of the first number started flickering and then day later will not light up anymore. I hope you can help! THanks!

I do not think you can "fix" an LED. Unless it is some soldering faulty you might have to change the whole digit display.
