Hi!
I'm fairly new to the NL2x, and I'm learning as fast as I can. However, I've got a gig coming, and was wondering if anyone could help me out with the song 'Lean On'. I've already found a solution for the pulsing sound, but the 'lead' (which sounds a bit vocalish) is really hard for me to create.
Can anyone help me out?
Thank you so much for helping me out, in advance

As far as dance/EDM are concerned. If it sounds like a vocal........ it's a vocal. Not gonna get that without putting in some studio work.

Hopefully you figured it out (I know this was from 2 years ago!). But, for the benefit of others who might be reading and new to programming/production... that "lead" (beginning ~ 0:49) sounds like they sampled a short portion of the female vocalist's recorded take, then loaded that sample into a MIDI-controllable playback device (more than likely a software sampler/VSTi) and performed the melodic idea we're hearing from a MIDI controller and pitch bended notes in the process to get that vibe.Ruud2312 wrote:Hi!

+1 RicardoWithers' response about using a Nord Wave, if you have access to one.
