Truncated Bass Program

I would like to layer a bass program along with a piano setting, but limit the bass to about the first octave of the keyboard. This would allow me to bring in a bass part subtly with the volume pedal along with the piano but not interfere with the treble range of the piano. Does anyone have a program like this? If not how would I go about creating it?
