I believe you are referring to Stage functionality? I don't think this is possible on the E5.

Yes! I saw the need for this right away but Nord said it wouldn't work because the Playback Engine needs to see .6 seconds of Audio. Never the less, I tried making my own using a .wav file with .6 seconds of silence but it didn't work. The Sample Editor created the .nsmp file but it wouldn't load into Sound Manager. I can't wait to try this. How did you do it?

Not sure why Nord says so much silence is needed, unless something has changed. I created silence in Audacity, slightly increasing the length until the sample editor allowed it. I think the first stumble was that it had to be a 44.1 khz wav though.
