Re: Which Nord electro?
Hi Ginger Ninja. If you are going on the road an Electro is an easy to carry choice that you will struggle to find an equivalent from other brands. My Electro 5 HP is cool I like the dual sound layering, eg piano / strings certainly work well. I don’t change piano patches through songs so seamless patch change feature on E6 is not something I would worry about. I like the 3 sound option on the E6, but would not sell my E5 to change for newer model. Therefore if budget is a consideration a lightly used Electro 5 73 would be an option to consider. Mine has never gone faulty. When I was doing festivals in fields they used to throw equipment on flat trailers to get to the stand. If you are doing something similar a case to protect all controls is a must! The HP is a fine enough action for piano, but too heavy for organ sounds. Hope you get sorted!
