Unresponsive NE2

Hi All,

I have an NE2 which until yesterday was working wonderfully. I was uploading new piano patches and managed to power off before it was complete and now I have the following symptoms:

Upon powering on the board, I get the "EL" readout, followed by the version number 3.0 (with 4 dot flash indicating 3.04). Then thats it. No other lights or response from the board whatsover. It is no longer visible to my computer via USB, and when I tried to re-install the OS via midi, it only goes through the first part (downloading boot loader), but then gives me an error (E3) on the board and on the computer it tells me that the boot loader did not restart properly and to try again (which I've done to no avail).

Pablo referred me to a local fix it shop, but they are on vacation right now. Anyone else have a similar issue and can shed any light on this?

For reference purposes for the forum: It is a virtual certainty that a hardware malfunction is preventing the boot loader from starting properly. There will be no software cures for a hardware failure.
