Turn off Monitor in on outputs

Post by xxMisterXCxx »

Hello everyone, I bought an electro 6 HP and I'm looking forward to it arriving. I have a question and would like your help.

I also currently have an Electro 3 SW and its monitor in only sends it to the headphones output. I took advantage of this entrance in my church to receive what came from the soundboard (mono return).

On electro 6, according to the manual, monitor in goes to all outputs. Is there a way to leave it on the phone only?

Note: I didn't find anything in the manual about this possibility, but I'm asking because I know maybe there could be a kind of key inside the keyboard. There is something like that for voltage and it's not in the manual either. I know they are different things, but there will be that possibility.

Hi, unfortunately not, there is no software setting about that, it is done in hardware; you need an external mixer to do the same.

When they released the E6 Nord decided to change the routing. It would appear to be hard wired. But on the Electro 5 the Monitor In just goes to the headphones.
Nord is the company that gives with one hand and takes away with the other. Look at the earlier post regarding MIDI Out on a separate channel which was also removed from the E6.
