Anybody find a good or great program setting for Stevie Wonder stuff on the Electro 6HP?
I am trying to find a decent clavinet for Superstition. I've been through the search and archives and have not found what I'm looking for. Currently, I am using the Clavinet D6 DA and I've layered the SY85 Clavinet. Sounds pretty good until I try it live, and then it looses the depth and sounds hollow and shrill. Here's what I've tried so far:
1. I am playing stereo through EV-ZLX15P mains with a mono (combined L/R) QSC K10 monitor in a five piece band with a drummer stuck in the 80s.
2. Chorus on the DA6
3. A little delay on the SY85
4. EQ on the DA6
5. I tried sampling the Yamaha S90ES StereoClav
6. I tried changing the filter and dynamics on the synth module and the preset eq on the piano module.
I've attached a photo of the settings.

No chorus.

Amp simulation on the clav - probably a Twin.

DRIVE (this is absolutely key!!!)

Also, add a short slapback delay with almost zero feedback.

Much better! Specifically, the amp simulator and drive made it sound right! I also turned off the preset EQ and used the three band to adjust the sound. I think I'll leave a little of the SY85 to blend as needed. Thanks again....Tony

Thanks for the feedback!

I’m so pleased to hear that my intuition got you where you needed to be.

Another idea would be to check the settings of the "Superstition" programs made for NS2 and NS3 on the forum.
Open the ns2p or ns3f files in the online viewer : https://ns3-program-viewer.herokuapp.com/ and see if you can replicate on yout Electro.

Fred,
Great tool that I did not know existed. Works great to reveal all the settings and I was able to duplicate it on my NE6. I'm getting close. Can't wait for the venues to reopen so I can try them out on the whole system. Thanks...Tony
