Hi all,
Just picked up a new 5D and working on my own organ sound to match what I had in my Electro 4. I am missing something really simple here and would appreciate a nudge in the right direction.
I build out my sound and get everything set. The rotary speed displays as it is changing from fast to slow in the display but it doesn't do anything. On other prepackaged programs it works just fine. I have compared settings and I'm sure I'm missing one little thing to make this work right.
Thanks for any help you can lend.

Re: Rotary Speed not working
Check to ensure that the Part, Lower or Upper, in which you have assigned Organ, also has the Rotary Effect assigned to it.

I have same problem, but can you explain how to do this:check to ensure that the Part, Lower or Upper, in which you have assigned Organ, also has the Rotary Effect assigned to it.

Hi ggsquaredinny,
look at the effect SPKR/COMP. The selected part - LO or UP - has to be the same as your organ part is set to. You can change the effect‘s part by pushing and holding the SHIFT button and simultanously pressing the PART SELECT button to the desired position: LO or UP.
Here is the downloadable manual which might be helpful:
