Receiving MIDI on part upper in upper receive mode
Got new E5 yesterday. I'm trying to to set up a program for B3 that will have my Yamaha Moxf8 work as one B3 manual and the E5 as the other. I have followed the set-up described as best as I can figure, [keyboard split point to MIDI upper receive - channel upper split to MIDI channel 2 (as well as the MOxf8)] but lots of problems. Physical drawbars seem inactive - part upper produces no sound - etc. any insights. Thx

Not sure but maybe channel Upper Split to 2 and Channel Upper Rcv to something else or off? I don't have an NE5 or I would experiment. The midi menu parameters look a bit confusing. Not sure different between Channel Upper Split and Channel Upper Rcv.
