No matter the location of the original WAV files used, the Nord Sample Editor will put copies of the WAV files used in a "Media" folder where the project file is located. I'll usually set up a folder for the project and resulting NSMP/NSMP3 sample, and then the consolidate feature will place any WAV files used in a Media folder with the project folder.
Hi WannitBBBad,
Thanks so much for taking the time to explain here.
So does the 'consolidation' actually
produce anything DIFFERENT to what I currently have in my (screenshot) folder? I mean, other than the Wav(s) and the two Nord files? Or is is more a matter of
convenience in that it saves the user some
donkey work by automatically placing the Wav(s) into the appropriate folder (which is what you seem to indicate). What I am trying to say/ask is that: it does not create a NEW file called (say) "Nord Sample Consolidation" file, or similar?
