Pink Floyd sounds

Postby Carlosprs » 16 Aug 2012, 13:49

I'm looking for some good Pink Floyd sounds to upload on my Nord E3 but I find only sounds or patches for Nord Stage and they seem to be unusable for Nord E3
Can you help me ?

Thank you so much

What sort of sounds do you want? The stock sound of early Floyd is a Farfisa Compact Duo with a Binson echo unit through a WEM valve amp. You'll need the Farfisa setting with bass, flute 8 and 2 2/3 - maybe oboe as well. Give that lots of delay and a bit of overdrive, and you'll sound like the opening of "Careful with that Axe, Eugene".

After that, a piano through a fast Leslie will give you the start of Echoes and a Hammond on 888600000 with 2nd harmonic will give you the next bit. A Wurlitzer + wah is good for Money.

bon courage Carlos !

Well, I like Nord but there's another (cheaper) alternative:

a cheap 49 keys midi controller and an expander with nice strings and moog sounds like Roland's JV-1010 ...

Thanks so much for these.
Are they all B3 settings or are any for Vox or Farfisa ?
