OverPRICED!!!! NOT WORTH THE $$$`
I do like the piano sound, and I like the feel of the keyboard, but I have had the Electro 5HP for only a year and AM extremely disappointed with it. I con't just use it alone on a job, I play cover bands and jazz. I don't feel that it was in ANY WAY a good deal

You should inform yourself what you buy BEFORE you buy it. This instrument is really very good in what it is supposed to be.

I'm tipping you didn't understand that it didn't have a synth, right? I love my E5D waterfall - it does everything I expected it to do, and it does it well, but I did need to add a synth. But I knew that from the start. Didn't you?

You want a truck, buy a truck. You can’t buy a Minivan and complain it’s no truck.
I agree, for a cover job, the NE alone is not enough.
Overpriced? Maybe yes. Nord is the Apple of keyboard companies. But they are pretty reliable and offer a UI noone else offers. The UI is the point.

For a Cover Band even a Stage 2 is reaching its limits
Even a single Stage 3 with its seamless transitions would ...
Couldn’t ever think about just a Nord Electro, even the 6 would NEVER come up to that kind of task.
But if you asked your dealer or searched the Internet before buying the E5, you’d have known that it’s not the right choice
Coverbands need many many sounds, so proper Gear can be very expensive (my point of view)
Everything IMHO...

Yes, too bad the OP didn't ask questions here before buying, he would have known it wasn't the right board for the job.
But jaws, instead of just complaining, why not describe what you need to do, and maybe someone here can offer a good suggestion as a board to get instead? You could probably get $2k by selling your 5HP, and that money could buy something better suited for your purposes.

Hell, yeah, I know that.... I'm going back to tell my wife that I'm not a gear addict, I'm just a poor cover keys player...
