Nord Repair gone wrong!

Post by soupman1994 »

Hey guys!

I opened up my Nord Electro 5 to clean some contact pads on keys that weren't acting right. I've done this before so I was confident in opening it up and operating on it.

After cleaning the affected pads, I put everything back and and tested the busted keys and they began working normally again. Unfortunately, the entire left side of the keyboard (all left from middle C) weren't working now... So i believed it was they way I plugged the ribbon wire on the left side of the keyboard back in. I repositioned it and closed it up to test it again and now the entire keyboard doesn't turn on.

Help!
If anyone has any idea what's wrong, I'd appreciate any input.

Thanks

Always start with the easiest solutions; check if the fuse is broken.
Also check if some other cables and ribbons could have been moved out of their places/sockest
