1. Much more piano and sample memory, of course.
2. Depth control for tremelo, reverb, pan, etc. The presets lack nuance, always have.
3. A two manual “Electro X”, sure: 61 key waterfall on top, 76 key weighted on bottom, under 40 Lbs. and lets toss in a
nice free gig bag while we’re dreaming (with one sturdy shoulder strap, lose the backpack straps, thanks).
4. Bluetooth wireless pedals, including a two way page turner which could be set as an octave shifter, etc.
5. Customize-able knobs (now we’re getting goofy); I see hundreds of Nord boards with stickers and band logos slapped all over their beat-up front and sides, but every control panel looks exactly alike. Some freedom of choice in terms of knob shape and color; perhaps even some glow-in-the-dark or subtle fiber optic knob tips.

Please tell me you're not serious with that comment...

How about putting Vintage 3 and Key Click 3 back in the B3?

And stealing the 1' drawbar for percussion, like in the E4 and prior.

A pitch bend/mod wheel would be good. Perhaps some neutral sounding Lexicon style reverbs with extra controls for the depth and crossover points. A Lexicon 224 emulation would offer a natural alternative to the clinical sounding reverbs and pianos in the Electro 6D.

For me, they should work on a good spring reverb emulation and I'd like to see better sounding amp simulations. I really like the Leslie and the tube drive, but not the amps.

Better Midi implementation - I'd like to control external gear with the upper and the lower split.

I'd like the Electro 3 ring mod back, where you could change the effect amount with the pedal.

A pitch knob for the sample synth to do Mellotron style bending.

I am using the Nord Electro 6D to trigger some other Instruments via MIDI. I noticed that none of the Nord Electros can transpose MIDI - now THAT would be a great addition. Let's say I play a Fender Rhodes instrument on my Laptop and only have the 61-Key-Version. If I need to reach the low keys there's no way to transpose the MIDI-Data (like the octave up/down keys).

Another thought is: add new Fender Rhodes patches. The existing ones aren't that realistic. The Wurlitzer 2 is pretty decent, the organ are insane (they're the reason why I started buying NEs beginning with my Nord Electro 3) and the acoustic pianos are highly realistic. The rhodes really bums me a little, because they don't have as many velocity layers and not as much details (more detailed release samples, damper noises etc). Aside from the Nefertiti I guess all other rhodes patches have pretty much been out there for years.

Don't wanna step on anybody's toes here - it's just what I really would like to see in the future! Would you agree with me?

As I am only a NE5D owner I made my thoughts on the base of the specs of this instrument, not the 6. I see an electro focussed on excellent organ and piano sounds, not more. So my only wish is to have the sustain pedal working in half pedal mode like my old roland v-combo already was able to work. The rest is fine. Okay, you can never have enough memory space, esp. when there will be more realistic pianos to download. But for me there is no need for pitch bender, increased midi features and such schnickschnack. Those people better go for Stage and other models. While writing this I just get the idea of a more comfortable iPad inclusion, maybe bluetooth onboard. Could be fine to try. Sunny regards from Germany.
