Nord Electro 6, Instrument Definition for Sonar X2
I am trying to connect my Sonar X2 to my NE6 but I don't have the appropriate Instrument Definition. Has anyone used Nord k/board with Sonar sequencer? If so, where can I find the Inst Def as Cakewalk website doesn't have anything for Nord. Thanks! Cheers!

Re: Nord Electro 6, Instrument Definition for Sonar X2
I've looked up what Sonar Instrument Definitions are meant for: https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation? ... fs.01.html. So for your NE6, it could help you address bank and program numbers and controllers.
But if that Instrument Definition is also meant to address each program according to GeneralMIDI standard, you will fail. Programs on a Nord usually are user defined and will not meet a certain 'definition' or 'standard'. So, you always have to set your own Instrument Definition for that and update it every time you store a new program or change its place. It would be a nightmare to me.
What are you trying to achieve by that combination?
