I'm here to present you some problems I had with my Nord Electro 4.
I downloaded a DAW and I saw many tutorials and videos on youtube where people reached to connect their keyboards to personal computers. I saw that this Nord has Midi Input and output, I took a USB wire to connect them to my laptop, the keyboard is recognized by the computer but not from the applications I tried to register with. Does anyone know if It's a problem of my Midi device or of my computer? Thanks.
NE4 has USB MIDI so you don't need to use the MIDI IN/OUT DIN, just a normal USB cable (like a printer's) connected between NE4 USB and computer + if you are using Windows you need to install Clavia USB Drivers (not needed on a Mac) that you find in NE4 downloads on Nord website.
