I had the opposite impression; there was an electro 3 61 at Sam Ash for the longest time, and it always felt too stiff and springy to me. Then my buddy got an electro 5, and I liked it better (though still not as nice as my old Roland vr700!). So I ended up going for the 6d, and haven't had any complaints.

Probably a mental thing on my part. I've noticed with trying weighted actions especially that some days they all feel ok to me, and others I'm way pickier!
