Nord Electro 3 Keybed DF or DR?

Does anyone know whether the diodes on the keybed for Nord electro 3 are forward or reverse bias ?

Hi and welcome to NUF (maybe introducing yourself or just saying "hello" before just asking a question would have been not bad ) anyway... what do you mean?

In general the keyboard is a diode matrix, diodes are used by the scanning logic to "select" the contact to scan, you can see for example the schematics of a TP8O 61 here https://www.doepfer.de/DIY/Matrix_61.gif

Hello! thank you for your reply. This schematic you've attached looks to be diode forward biased. They can also be upside down (reverse). You'll see on keybeds (DF or DR). Do you know if the Nord Electro 3 uses a Fatar keybed like the TP80? I didn't recognize it as a fatar but I could be wrong.

I don’t have an Electro 3 but, as far as I know and have read here in the forum, all Nords use Fatar keybed except of the Nord Grand which has a KAWAI action

Just do a search here on “Electro 3 Keybed” and you will find a ton of information
