Nord Electro 3 - No sound ?

1) My Nord Electro 3 suddenly stopped playing sound. I changed mixer and loudspeaker - but no sound, not even from the headphones.
2) When the sound stopped, I was not changing settings .. I just played the keyboard.. and then .. no sound ?
3) Then I updated the Keyboard OS - and the connection to the keyboard is working fine.. but still no sound ?
3) Now I need a plan for where, who and how I'm going to get the keyboards fixed ?

I actually wrote my posting in english .. but the the text was translated into danish .. don't know why .. but that was - what happened.

Could you by accident have set it to local off ( there use to be a setting for that in the system or midi menu).
After all, this is an old instrument.

This site are not affiliated with Nord, so my best guess are that you try to find a local store that are dealing with new Nords ( ther are a lot of them, now when 4Sound are closed), and from there ask for a repair shop they might recommend.

unplug all the cables from the keyboard (peddles, usb cable, etc), except for a single output cable (either left or right). make sure the volume, including the master volume is up and see if you get any output from the keyboard.

1) Unplug all cables - chek
2) One output cable connected - chek
3) Voluse set incl. master volume - chek

Still no sound

I can get in contact with the keyboard using the Nord-manager etc. .. and the keyboard is showing all the lights and numbers perfectly .. but no sound.

Not sure there is anything you can do on your own at this point. Its possible that an internal cable has come loose. If you feel comfortable opening up the keyboard yourself, you could check. Otherwise you'll have to take your Nord into a repair shop. Any competent repair guy should be able to diagnose the problem.

Its incredibly unlikely that there has been any significant failure/damage as that would generally have caused other symptoms.

I know that you tried almost everything, but by chance did you try to connect a Volume/Expression pedal and see how it behaves while moving it ?

One other thing that might cause this is a CC07 being forced as "000", but that would need a MIDI controller/device of some sort always forcing that condition, which is not your case as you disconnected everything...
