Re: New Nord Electro 6
Curious... haven't logged in in a LONG time...
The Electro 6 is 3-part multi-timbral... so, you can use Piano Library, Organ section, and Sample Synth section. Cool!
The Stage 3 is supposedly 6-part (but no, the Stage 2 ACTUALLY is)... the Stage 3 is actually 2-part multi-timbral. Piano Library, and Organ.. or Organ + Sample synth... (I think... I did briefly own the Stage 3 76... and I could not 6 parts... only A and B).
The new Nord Lead 4 is 4-part multi-timbral. Sweet.
The Nord Grand... is it not multi-timbral at all? I can't find evidence.
Nord Piano 4... 2-part multi-timbral? Or just ONE sound at a time?
Any clarification is appreciated!
I'm replying to this post in this thread specifically because I am most interested in the Electro 6... having the Piano Library connected via MIDI to my preferred weighted-key MIDI controller, and then using the organ section on the actual Electro keybed... and then another 49-key unweighted keybed (via MIDI) to control the Sample Synth... and having it all connected at the same time, so no configuring over and over... would be SO nice.
Thanks for any help.
