Hi all,
Just noticed a couple of things on my NE5HP - owned about 4 months from new, so still in warranty. Wondered if they were faults or just the way it is...
1. OLED is very slightly wobbly. It's very subtle, but I can see a slight 'shifting' of the text on the screen. Is this normal? Potentially it's deliberate to avoid screen burn-in or something.
2. Headphone output. I can 'hear' the transformer hum through good headphones, when not playing any sounds.
Any views?
thanks!
Nick

Re: NE5HP - wobbly OLED and noisy headphone output?
I have had my 5D SW Electro for about 6 months from new.
I listened with a high quality Sennheiser headphone and a cheaper pair.
Turned the volume up and down min-to-max.
No hiss at all.
I don’t know if the power supply etc is the same as yours.
Best get it checked out.
Regarding the OLED.
I have spotted a flicker ocassionally.
Think I’ve read on this forum that it could be a power saving feature.
Not what you described though.
