NE3 Mono Out
On the NE3, if I'm only plugged into the Left Output, will that be mono out? It's not listed as mono out by the jack and the manual doesn't say anything. I've always just run it stereo out, but with my new setup, mono out will be required - just want to make sure I'm not losing anything by plugging into just the left output. Please let me know if you know thanks

Hi BJ,
The NE3 doesn't have summing jacks "Left is only Left, Right is only Right"
{edit} of course this was wrong, the NE3 DOES have summing jacks and the Left IS mono....
I was thinking of the Nord Wave....
Cheers, Hanon

Re: NE3 Mono Out
That's strange. On my Nord 3 the left channel says LEFT OUT MONO and the Right just says RIGHT OUT, one must therefore deduct that the left is the default mono channel, no?
I got mine in March 2011, maybe it's an new feature?

I must of had a senior moment and was thinking of a different model.
I am wrong, the NE3 does have summing jacks and the Left really is mono.
I was thinking of the Nord Wave.

Re: NE3 Mono Out
But of course, the question is... do you like the sound of L out, L out mono summed, R out, or R&L amp-summed mono best for mono playing? I'm on the fence about this, and there definitely a difference.
