I have my keyboard connected to my Roland Sound Module. The latter I use when I want to play strings. I have a switch box that eanbles me to quickly switch from Nord to Roland and vice verse.
This works great when switching to the Nord. However, when I swich to the Roland, I keep hearing a distorted pianosound, untill I reset the sound module. That is, switching to another instrument and then back to strings again.
Does anyone know how I can solve this problem? Should I perhaps connect another midicable, out of the Roland into the Nord?
Many thanks!
Michael

Re: midi problem
What is the switch box switching -- audio or MIDI or something else? Normally, you could just have a fader/potmeter or a switch that changes the audio balance between the two; both can keep playing all the time. If that is how your setup works, I guess the switch box could be defect -- but let us know how it is set up now; I could be totally wrong here!
