looking for a quite "brillant" piano sound
Hello, I have purchased an Electro 6 HP and am in the process of taking the first steps. My amplifier is a Laney AH150. I would like to achieve a quite brilliant piano sound similar to the Yamaha U1 or the K series from Kawai. what are your suggestions ? which size from the downloads are sufficent ? I am not playing particular classic music...

There is only one comment on a Laney AH150 on this forum: https://www.norduserforum.com/nord-stag ... 150#p44733. I guess it may do a good job on EP sounds, but probably not so much on an acoustic piano (AP) sound. You may want to consult the amplification FAQ on this forum.
Depending on your setup, any size may be sufficient. Nord themselves explain what the different sizes mean: https://www.nordkeyboards.com/sound-lib ... nformation. Mostly, string resonance and individual sound character for every key are affected.
Concerning a bright sound: Already the Piano EQ and the KB Touch will affect your tone a lot. And of course, you may select a more bright sounding sample: Silver Grand, Bright Grand, White Grand e.a.

Welcome to the forum, BTW. And hey, you shouldn't double post.
But you should read the manual to understand the basics of your instrument. It is well written.
To understand the relation between instrument and Nord Sound Manager: The latter is used to add, remove or sort samples. Programs can be sorted, as well - but not built. To edit a program, you will always need to use the instrument (and have write protection disabled). Then any change on the panel will immediately affect the running program - but will only be overwritten and stored if you hit the red STORE button (or STORE AS). For that, cf. the manual.
