KBD SPLIT

Post by ibba_nordelectro »

Hello,
Is it not possible in Nord electro 6 HP to split the keyboard to two zones, both with sample synth but not the same sample synth sound?
If it is possible, how can I do that?

Thanks

Hi

unfortunately the answer is "no", because on NE6 you have only 1 Synth section = 1 sample/sound at the time, so the only way to achieve that is to prepare a pre-split Sample yourself (since this is a FAQ, you may find many existing discussions on how to create such a sample, which may require resampling existing .nsmp to .wav, so you need to be familiar with that and with using the Nord Sample Editor to create new .nsmp from multiple .wav files)

Hi Ingibjörg,

that way, you could play different sounds with your left and right hand - but can't do any changes on the fly: fixed split point in the sample, fixed velocity ratio in the sample.
