Hello!
New to the forum, so thanks for having me. The screen on my Electro 6D has gone out. The closest Nord service tech is 4 hours away from me. I’m pretty handy with basic electronics and keyboard repairs, so I figured I’d try to tackle this on my own. I had Nord send me the replacement screen part. So, I sit down to dive into the keyboard. I have hit an embarrassing roadblock- I can not for the life of me figure out how to pop off the drawbar fader caps. This is the only thing holding me back from pulling the control board to swap the screen. Any time I try to pop them like any other fader caps I’ve previously worked with, they do not give at all. It feels like I’m going to break them off if I apply any real force. Is there a trick to this I’m missing? I’m extremely frustrated that this small hindrance is keeping me from completing my repair. Thanks for any help!

Re: How to Remove Drawbar Fader Caps for Repair and Service
Great. There's a video from inside Nord production center on YT showing that they softly set the caps on the drawbars and then press the entire keyboard onto a table or something to evenly fix the drawbars. Which means that they will really stick.
Checked it again. It's a flat rod they use:
I'd try with a fork.

Regarding this repair, you can view the Mountain Top Repair Shop video on Youtube, which has a detailed introduction.
Based on this video, I repaired my Nord Electro 6D.
I purchased an OLED screen from Ali, and then removed the removed black bracket and attached it to the new OLED screen with double-sided tape.
All other steps are completed by referring to the video guide.
OLED can find from this URL: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006520450850.html
