Hello,
I am looking to buy a Nord Electro 6, but am unsure whether to get the 6D (semi-weighted) or the HP (weighted). I would prefer 73 keys, as I am looking to play some solos in the band that I am hoping to put together. If I bought the HP, would I need a case with wheels, or could I just get a soft case and carry it around on my back? Otherwise, I could go for the 6D. Thanks.
How portable is the Nord Electro 6 HP 73?

My Electro 4 HP weighs 0.4 kg less than the 6 HP. I’ve never used a wheeled bag, just the bespoke soft case… even with Nord’s tubular legs added, which add another 6 kg or so to mine.
My Stage 3 HP 76 has the Nord wheeled soft case, and it adds bulk and weight. I have a love-hate relationship with it. Never felt that way about the Electro soft case.

I use the Nord soft case with my Electro 6 HP 73 every week. That softcase works great for me. Good luck buing your first Nord - Beware of the rather "sluggish hammer action"
- Maybe you should try it in store before you decide? If you dont need organ I suggest you also consider Nord Piano 5 - 73 - Much better piano action.. Also fit in the softcase - but a little heavier.

6D 73 owner here, I absolutely love the weight of it and was pleasantly surprised with how responsive the semi-weighted keys are for dynamic piano playing.
I concur with the other poster, that it would be ideal for you to try both keybeds to make an informed choice.
