Hi there, I'm replying super late but wanted to let you know that I have that Gator case and it won't fit your keyboard unfortunately!

I have a Nord Stage 3 Compact that is the same dimensions as your electro, and am equally disappointed with the Nord branded gig bag.

I've been hunting for an alternative with backpack straps, but have been hardpressed to find anything that doesn't have too much extra room leftover to make the case unnecessarily bulky (I'm taking it on the tube/bus a lot so these things matter!).

Closest I've found so far is products made by Fusion in the UK. Their model "Keyboard 04" looked to have the closest specs (https://www.fusion-bags.com/collections ... -4-gig-bag), but is still technically 2.5cm too short. I contacted the company to see whether they thought it would still fit (ie if there is a bit of "give" in the material, it should be fine), but got a generic answer saying it doesn't fit the listed specs, and recommended the "Keyboard 06" with backpack straps or "Keyboard 09" with wheels. Still not sure which would be the "fits like a glove" option!

In regard to your earlier comment regarding an "expensive 61 key case", you were probably thinking of the Mono M80 case (https://www.andertons.co.uk/keyboards-p ... ase-61-key). I don't think this one will fit either, which is a shame as I think this is one of the few good keyboard gig bags on the market.

I recently purchased a case for my NE5-73 from Studio Slips. Its great for my needs. Nice, snug fit. Fits easily in my car. I had been using a Gator Pro case which is nice and has great protection, but quite a bit oversized and it would not fit in the trunk of my car. I didnt order the backpack straps but they offer them as an option.

I'm a weekend warrior and handle my own equipment in my own vehicle. I dont think i would let a roadie handle my Nord with this case, or put it in the back of a truck. Its very soft so the keyboard could get damaged with impact. But for my needs, its perfect.

From day one I’ve used a Nord gig bag. The wooden end caps on my seven year-old NE3 73 look elderly. Upon upgrading to an NE5 73, I bought a generic gig bag for a 61 key keyboard ($40). The old Nord bag fits inside the new generic gig bag with room to spare. Into that spare space I gaffing taped some pre-measured slices of dense black foam “water noodle” flotation devices ($10). It’s not as protective, but this DIY double bagged system is much lighter than the lightest hard shell case. It protects against the usual bumped door jambs, mic stand bases, trap cases, etc., much better than either bag alone.
