Hi!
I want to use my Yamaha p155 to control the lower section of my Nord Electro 6D 73. The Midi connection works, the lower section has the red light, indicating that it is controlled by the external keyboard. However, I control the UPPER section with BOTH the Nord and the Yamaha. I cannot control the lower section with either of the two while "external kbd to low" is active. Only the sound selected for the upper section can be played both on the Nord and the Yamaha at the same time.
It says in the manual that the external keyboard should control the lower section automatically. I cannot seem to find the right setting.

and a very warm welcome to this great forum of nord enthusiasts.
Have you split your keyboard? Your post sounds as if you have set two different sound sections but are playing them „layered“, not split.
Some functions need to have the SHIFT button held.

Maybe you didn't consult the manual's section for the System menu: You need to set the Yamaha MIDI channel to the ExtKB2Lo MIDI channel, not the Global MIDI channel.
