expresion pedal sweep to wide

Postby Sounddune » 02 Mar 2018, 04:21

OK Gang, I'm a brand spankin' new Electro 5D owner and I have 2 problems....the sweep of my Yamaha F7 pedal is very narrow and the rotary switch is working backwards. Anyone out there know how to adjust those two items? Thanks in advance for any guidance you can offer.

There’s a pot on the FC7 so set its range, and there’s a setting in the Nord’s system menu to reverse the polarity of foot switches (or set them to automatic).

There is also a setting in which you can tell your board, which expression pedal you are using. Selecting the wrong one also affects the width of the sweep.

FC7 has no adjustment pot, but a mechanical setting to adjust its angle for standing or sitting playing position FC7 Manual

There are also FC7's that don't work with the FC7 setting in the NORD. I have two and neither works properly on my NE5 when set to the FC7 setting. I ended up using the Roland setting instead.

My apologies. I confused it with another pedal I used for a while.
