Good afternoon.
I have a Nord Electro 6HP, and a while ago it started having some errors on the pianos, it started to make screeching noises.
I deleted the larger samples, leaving a lot of free memory, but last weekend, the same thing happened, only now the pianos are gone, and when I connect the Nord Sound Manager, the ones that restore are all with the message Broken-Invalid Checksum, and marked in red.
I tried to restore to factory defaults, but when the process gets to the pianos partition, the software gets stuck.
can anybody help me? I'm desperate!

Re: Error Piano NE6HP Broken- Invalid Checksum
Hi and welcome to the Forum.
Sorry to hear about your problem... The symptoms you describe suggest failure of some of the flash memory components used to store the samples. I hope your NE6 remains under warranty because I believe you require a hardware repair. This most likely means replacement of the main circuit board.
Please contact your country's distributor for repair information. See: https://www.nordkeyboards.com/distributors for email and webpage contact information.
Please let us know what you discover and how they repair your NE6.

Nord Electro 6HP - Problem Solved
Greetings!
My keyboard, as I posted earlier, started to emit white noise, and the piano sounds disappeared, and I could no longer download any piano sounds, nor even format the pianos unit.
I managed to get in touch with someone from Nord's technical department, who promptly answered me and indicated that it would really be a flash memory problem, and that I would probably have to change the motherboard. He sent me the contact for authorized technical assistance here in Brazil.
Unfortunately, I realized that it would be a long process and with a very high cost for me.
As I work with electronics for many years, I decided to open my Nord Electro 6HP to calmly analyze what was happening. To my surprise, I was able to identify the problem, a damaged resistive network, associated with one of the four flash memories that make up 1Gb of the pianos. I replaced the component and my Nord Electro 6HP was resurrected!!!!!!!
I'm very happy to have my keyboard back.
