Hello, just joined, new here.. been playing 40+ years.. just purchased my first Nord product back in the fall, and I'm loving it! After looking through the existing threads for my topic, the only one that came close was the one about volume, and the consensus was to adjust the GAIN. I'm not sure that's my issue.
When I first purchased the E6D, the control pedal would take the volume to 0 (inaudible) all the way up to whatever the max I chose on the knob. I used this for a WARM PAD sound under the piano. I'd like a solo piano, then bring pad in/out as needed. Currently, I'm unable to pedal control the pad down to 0 (inaudible) like before. I'm thinking it's user error, because I've had this board only 5 months. Like I said, I've tried adjusting the GAIN in the EQ section, but I can still hear the pad, when I try and bring it all the way down, AND the max volume is then affected. Help!
Any ideas? Thanks for any help you can provide!

Re: Electro 6D 73 Volume Pedal Response altered
First you need to get into the menu - probably the system menu, IIRC. There you can change the pedal type bc and the gain of the pedal.
In that menu you can also see the current value of the pedal - it should move between 0 and 100. If not, check that the pedal type matches your pedal.
If it does not go to 100, increase the gain. If it cannot go to 0 the gain may be too high - but check the type first!
If there is a knob on your pedal, it is the most likely cause of not being able to go to 0.
I'm not with my board now, so I cannot tell you exactly which menu to go to (menus are accessed via shift and one of the soft buttons), but start by looking into the manual - it is worth reading!

This worked brilliantly!! Menu is the SHIFT+SYSTEM, page 9 of 14. Thank you so much for the help. Yes, I'll need to spend more time with the manual, it appears. Thanks again!
