Hello,
I need help to solve an issue on my 5D. It just occured and im going to use it live tomorrow with no possibility to connect to computer/sound manager before that.
What happend is that the key B1 suddenly got a lot more sensitive velocity than the others, and it makes all the pianos and sensitive sounds bananas to play. The key still has sensitivity but hits max for almost nothing.
I need to know if anyone knows what and/or why this has happend, and if there is some way to reset the velocity for the whole keyboard? Factory reset?
Since the velocity is still there i dont think of it as a technical problem. My own experiense of what happend is that the key suddenly turned oversensitive when played.
Hugs and kisses to anyone who can help me solve this one.

Re: Electro 5D velocity
dirt in the contacts, the instrument needs to be opened, the keybed completely removed from the lower chassis, the contact PCB removed from the underside of the keybed, the rubber contact strip peeled back to expose that note position. Once arrived at that point, it is likely that a 1/2 second blast from a can of compressed air will clear the dirt away. Then put it back together and you're good. There is MUCH material in this forum describing this procedure in greater detail.
